When might we learn the story of their parents? Or have I missed that somewhere?

I definitely want to learn about what happened to them as well. My guess is that it will be revealed as the story progresses.

What happened Mr. & Mrs. Kane...now that is a mystery that will reveal itself in time.
(Just not right now. Definitely one of those long-term mythology elements.)

No problemo. Seeing as this is a welcoming bunch, don't be too disappointed if criticism doesn't show up your way.

Any backstory about Steph's skullpin? And I thought I saw a piece of art that showed her having a tattoo of it too.

I'd like to do some kind of short tale that goes into the origin of it. It works like a mood skull, so the expressions change with Stephanie's mood.

And I thought I saw a piece of art that showed her having a tattoo of it too.
Yeah, we haven't really gotten much fan service with Stephanie yet to show it off. Perhaps we can show it off down the line.

If anybody else was wondering what I meant about the tattoo:

Maybe I will tick a few people off, but it seems to me that the characters have very shouting poses when speaking.

It's no problem. There's nothing wrong with observation. :) Anyways, I assume you're referring to Comipa's work on the first volume of PMS. Methinks the big "shouting" mouths are just a part of his style to make conversing characters more lively and animated - I at least think it's better than characters talking yet keeping their mouths closed. :p

On that note, questions and comments along with criticisms are all welcome. Hope to hear from you all. :D

Is there any chance we might see a preview piece so that we can see the difference between your style and Comipa's?

Overall, I am looking forward to seeing the full thing come December (when Adam said that he is shooting for).

We'll start showing off Ian's character designs for the cast soon, and then show off book 2's characters probably around September or October. But as a teaser... here's Ian's design for Stephanie:

The designs and tone of the second story is lighter and more in line with Aoi House and Vampire Cheerleaders, so having Ian on board for the 2nd PMS story really gives it a fun flavor that I think you guys and gals are gonna instantly love.

We can't show off any actual pages yet from book 2 this early on as it would give away massive spoilers for anyone that's following along online... But maybe we can give a little teaser later on in the year. (I did give Gisele a sneak peek, and they've got her stamp of approval! ^_^)

Very interesting. Lots of potential... ;)

Just hope you don't go tooooo far in the making the tone a bit lighter. A bit of darkness is always fun.

Nah, I'm writing the book the same as always. In fact, book 2 is quite...epic.
