Doesnt feel like an end though. I think this series does need a THE END page or something, even if its just for the site and not the books.

Nah, Adam always trolls the readers at the end. This is the end we should have expected.

Come to think of it, yeah. We had a timeskip then too, but at least Aoi House's glossed over some details in the process.

Yet never answered the question on wtf was up with thatSilent Hill hong in the first place. Or did I miss that?

What I want to know more than anything else is how Suli ended in the same place as Katie and Leonard, or rather, how and why did she just coincidentally happen to be floating in space at the exact time at the exact area as Katie and Leonard. This ain't Doctor Who; the excuse of 'just roll whit hit' won't work.

And don't forget about the previous VC/PMS arc. Adam made us believe that Heather and her parents would make amends and become a normal family again, only to make Heather enthrall them again at the last page.

Adam always lures us with the promise of a conventional happy ending, but it's a trap! He refuses to give his stories a happy fuzzy ending. Next time I will be ready for the worst and I won't fall for his tricks!.

So Adam is basically Gen Urobuchi?

Nobody is Gen Urobuchi. Gen Urobuchi eats two GRR Martins for lunch and another two for dinner. And on the morning, he writes his nightmares down and calls them "Puella Magi Madoka". X_X

You realize that much of what George RR Martin does in A Song of Ice and Fire is what everyone felt like when Empire Strikes Back first came out: bad guys win, heroes in trouble, things look bleak. Also, I feel like the only reason you chose George RR Martin was because of the popularity of Game of Thrones. No real issue with that, just pointing it out

Also, George RR Martin never lures or baits or anything. He foreshadows like hell. I always had an issue with the show's portrayal of Robb because in the book, he marries out of honor and respect, as he "is his father's son". By making it clear in his book that Robb's personality and views of the world were the same as his father's, it was clear that he would die. There's a lot of foreshadowing in A Song of Ice and Fire (e.g. "Winter is Coming") thus we, the readers, somewhat expect that in which has yet to happen. That is, if George RR Martin ever finishes writing the books before he kicks the can

Reread my post. I said that nobody is like Gen Urobuchi and that Gen Urobuchi's Puella Magi Madoka was bleaker than anything.

I only mentioned GRRM when I said that Gen Urobuchi eats four GRRMartins per day, which shows how much more terrible than GRRM is Gen Urobuchi. And yes, I used GRRM to compare with Gen because he's a popular figure that most people will know about. The point is to express how bleak is Gen's work by using another popular figure (GRRM) as a measuring stick.

But anyways, Gen Urobuchi probably isn't a good comparation to Adam. Gen's work is bleak while Adam's is usually optimistic, and Gen not always trolls the fans in the end.

Heh...I wonder how Clarence123 feels about this one.

I will admit. He was right on one thing. This shouldn't have been the final arc of the story. I like the story, but this was no way to finish off Vampire Cheerleaders.

I don't remember much from Gen's work, but I will say this: Martin created a world where happiness is scarce and short-lived. The world has winters that are harsh and last years, some even decades or even lifetimes. When summer comes, it can last years or months. I always laugh when people get upset about the terrible things that happen to the characters in his stories because I know that unless a character is willing to kill, deceive, betray, and take/give a bribe, they won't last. When you remove the fantasy element, that is effectively realistic. Martin made his characters human, and humans are pretty shitty. Sure we have grown more morally conscience, but it's the people who are willing to do anything that hold power. Don't believe me? Vladimir Putin. Bashar al-Assad. Any American politician, especially those who have been saying "we should kill all the Muslims". The fact that those who are moral are NOT in charge says something in my opinion, and anyone who can make a world that says the very same thing earns my thumbs up
