You know, sexual arousal triggering the werewolf transformation must suck...no matter how attractive a person you are, when you get into action you grow fur on all your body and get a dogface...which must be quite a turn off for almost everybody.

So, if you are a werewolf, your only hope to find love is to hook with somebody with a furry sexual fetish or with somebody so desperate he/she will accept any lover.

And then there is the fact that, being a werewolf doesn't necessarily mean you like people with fur and animal face, so if you are lucky and find a mate who will accept you and who you find attractive, you are under constant risk to infect and turn said mate into somebody you won't find attractive.

As far as I knew, lycanthropy was only spread through bites, or flesh wounds; sorta like with zombies. I've never heard of anyone becoming a werewolf through sexual intercourse before.

Not necessarily, 'cuz there are ways for her to control it. PETM temporarily cured her of it before, which she even mentioned while they were at the 2012 Paracon convention.

Even without the EPI shots, so long as Katie gets herself off now 'n then, it shouldn't be a problem. It only becomes an issue when she keeps all that sexual frustration bottled up, which causes her to lose control and wolf out when she finally releases it.

That said, she's already found someone who'd be perfectly willing to accept her as-is, werewolf and all. And if that panel of her is any indication, he's helping release some of that pent-up frustration now.

I'm worried and afraid of how the last page will end on Friday. I have so many questions and I believe a large majority of them will go unanswered. I now wonder how everything will come to a close and I just can't help but feel like there is meant to be more but a deadline had been set and it must be followed. Real shame I must admit; would've been nice to see more

Not sure of that. I think sexual stimulation can trigger the transformation no matter what. During the fight with the reptilians she was locked into human form, unable to change, and was able to trigger a transformation through masturbation.

In the first scene I linked to, Steph showed Katie a Playgirl centerfold to test whether the EPI shots had worked. Katie was fully aroused, but didn't transform. And in the second link, when J.C. asked her if the EPI shots were still working, Katie said they were. So it is possible for her to control it.

Also, iirc, there was a separate scene where someone suggested that, so long as Katie doesn't keep her sexual frustration bottled up, that she shouldn't transform when she's double clicking her mouse.

I said "sexual stimulation", which isn't the same as arousal. We have seen Katie resist transformation while aroused. We haven't seen her resist it while being sexually stimulated.

All Katie's ever done since meeting him, is diss him, smack him around, and repeatedly say she wasn't interested. Which is likely the reason Suki was surprised to see Katie kiss him.

you know, I'm a bit worried. If thi is the second to last page, whatever is coming friday is almost certainly gonna end abruptly in the middle of something. I kind of find those endings unsatisfying usually.

I dunno, maybe I'm reading too much between the lines, but you do have to remember there's been a whole boatload of interaction between the two. The lost chapter we'll never get to see (thanks a fucking lot, facebook community) and this big time skip from these last few pages. Even if you never saw the softer side Katie is a fairly textbook example of a tsundere and I'm of the belief that there was never enough "down time" or lull enough in the plot to really go through both sides.

For all the abuse and full on accidental pervert revenge mode Katie tended to go into the one thing that always kind of stuck out to me a subtle contradiction was when Leonard and Suki were having sex in the hot spring. Namely when Katie gets mildly pissy that they did it with her in the room Suki points out to she did invite Katie to join in. She didn't have one of her usual pissy, dismissive comebacks at all.

Like I said, maybe I'm reading between the lines too much, but I still suspected that this was coming. Unless Adam is pulling our legs right now and wants us to think that's what's happening, in which case my leg has been dislocated and is about to be physically torn off my body.

I don't mind, but I would have liked some acknowledgment if this is the case
