It seems that Charlotte is going alone from the dialogue of the previous pages might be due to the fact that JC and Peter are virtually immortal where as she has a life span if you go into the theory that Katie Suki and Leonard are in a very distant future.

So of course the real question here is if Peter's name is a nod towards another young mixed-breed humanoid by the name of Peter Summerfield that adventures in space and time. As fun as that would be, my money's on it being a coincidence.

Ainley Girls' Academy was the name of the school the girls at the National Cheerleading Championships went to.

The urn that Katie broke that released Lita was called the Urn of Karthos.

The Great One broke through The Tartarus Gate.

And yes, J.C. Summerfield was named for Bernice Summerfield and Jason Kane.


Bonus: J.C.'s father was a dhampir, and his mother was a human... so J.C. is totally half human on his mother's side.
