Ah, see I for one thought the scene with the black splatter indicated she had taken off one of their heads with her claws.

And technically wouldn't it be two hits? The first being the one she rammed into the ground at the start, the second the one whose visor she slashed off?

"Splak" looks headcrushy to me, and the mess accompanying "RAAAAH!!!" seems to indicate more cranial destruction. In a single hit. When, in her last encounter with what appeared to be a significantly less-advanced version of these creatures, she spent quite some time clawing at one's armor before she finally managed to breach it, and even then all she did was tear out an eye, non-fatally, and then get immediately grabbed by the ankle and tossed out of the battle like an annoying pest too insignifcant to even bother shooting.

She has the motive and power to do what needs to be done now that she lacked in the previous encounters. If she wasn't saving her sister, she would be right along side of her, kicking ass and not even bothering to take names (those can wait until later).
