A little early but man when they get back Lori is going to freak out.

So this feeling of uncertainty about her origins is the root of her mathernal ways for her offspring. Touching.

That is early.
Anyvays, sad that she's been so forlorn all these decades, that Suki couldn't be there for her or do anything for her. But at least she has her progeny and a chance of knowingly meeting her maker one day.

Still think Suki was always Lori's maker. Still think they're never going home.
We didn't see Lori meet Suki in the present. We don't know how she reacted, only how she treated her once she was used to her (not to mention after she'd accidentally-on-purpose killed someone).
Although... Lorna? Did this girl meet Lori back in the 19th century?
(And I just realized that "Lori the Riveter" must have been her '29 incarnation, which would mean she didn't change her name... huh.)

How many different ways can you slightly alter the name "Lori" anyway?
Though I imagine after 60-80 years or so, anyone who knew you back then would be dead or senile...

Lorna is Lori's original name.Although... Lorna? Did this girl meet Lori back in the 19th century?
That strip takes place during World War II.(And I just realized that "Lori the Riveter" must have been her '29 incarnation, which would mean she didn't change her name... huh.)
Lori is shown being referred to as "Lorelle" on the page.

That explanation is wrong now.Adam Arnold wrote:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... -2.svg.png
The original did not loose his existence.
He became the double.
If original had lost his existence.
The double would not exist.

Yeah, that's... almost an anti-answer, because from what happened when Aaron did start to mess with causality, we're clearly not on Primer rules.

Think of it as there were two outcomes:Nightgazer Starlight wrote:That explanation is wrong now.Adam Arnold wrote:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... -2.svg.png
The original did not loose his existence.
He became the double.
If original had lost his existence.
The double would not exist.
1. one where the original didn't enter the box and continued on.
2. one where the original entered the box and becomes the double.
The "core" timeline became only that 2nd path.

Interesting way of the paradox resolving itself.Adam Arnold wrote:Think of it as there were two outcomes:Nightgazer Starlight wrote:That explanation is wrong now.Adam Arnold wrote:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... -2.svg.png

It'a also really nice to see where Lori gets her "mama bear" tendencies from, really heartwarming.

Re: [20-08-2014] Out There Somewhere
This turn of events makes perfect sense to me.
Subjective point A: Lori turns Suki. Suki becomes Lori's spawn, Lori becomes Suki's master.
Subjective point B: Suki travels back in time, bites and drains Lori nearly to death. Her blood is used to turn Lori. Suki becomes Lori's master, Lori becomes Suki's spawn.
Only from point B onward is Suki Lori's master. So long as you keep in mind that we're dealing with subjective observation of the timeline, rather than the natural chronology, it all makes sense. *shrug*

Heh, makes more sense than Blizzard trying to explain the plot of the latest WoW expansion...
