You know, now that it's been mentioned, I can see her being a bit of an AJ expy, sure...

Gotta feel sorry for Lori here - I get the impression she just got teased pretty hard with an answer she's been seeking for a veeeeeery long time.

Because Suki hadnt become her Sire yet. Yes, from Lorna's POV, it's a past event, but to Suki, she hadnt done it yet so the link wasnt established.

As someone who grew up in the late 70's and early 80's "What the Hay" has been a child's substitute for H-E-double hockey sticks for many, many, many years. I even remember hearing it in some old Warner Bros cartoons from the 40's and 50's on Saturday mornings.
