So, I've been reading from the beginning and love this whole family of comics, but I have two questions, to which the answers might be painfully obvious.

First, can anyone help me understand where/when they are now? I've been more or less completely lost since the moth business a while back. At first I thought it was intentionally vague to ease us into it, but I get the sense that I've missed something in there at this point. I'm certain it's my fault.

Second, couldn't Katie still assume her human form at one point, even after being infected? Maybe I'm crazy or maybe I misinterpreted the artwork, but I don't remember her being furry this much in the past.

No complaints here, but I think I've managed to let a few key parts of the comic slip past me, so I'd appreciate the help.

My guess is she was always more comfortable or grew more comfortable in her hairy form. She doesn't need to try to be what she isn't here after all. In the today world she has to play the human and can only be the werewolf when she has a excuse. This fits in with her sister almost killing her for being not human so she never got to really explore it. Side to that, it may be Suki's overall comfort that is allowing her to finally relax and explore what she is. Suki is fully able to handle her monster self with no hangups after all.

Thanks a lot for the response, really appreciate it. Mostly just glad to see I didn't miss any comics in there somewhere. Is the leading theory, then, that this is an alternate universe, or that Stephanie's exit flipped things out of whack somehow?

When not taking shots, she was spontaneously furrying out - with Moon and mundane hormonal fits (whether afraid or aroused) alike... which brings us back to the current situation, of course.

I don't recall her going to Egypt, however she may been inseine in Paris at one time.

And as for Lennie being enthralled - I think he's mid 'crisis' at that point (old Top Gear Joke).

So to put on a thought here..

Suki is very much the archetype of freedom and sexual liberation

Katie is the innocent virgin. Pure yet inexperienced and naive (or in this case violent)

Leo is the clueless. Good intentioned yet dumb as a brick.


Suki is the personification of adulthood and the ability to deal with the unknown yet seemingly without morals to the innocent.

Katie is the child scared yet intrigued by what is outside her/his nature. Afraid yet allured. The innocent that will become the adult.

Leo is the purity of emotion. Wanting pure forms of love, but so easily corruptible by lust. The strength and weakness of man.


The only common form of literary humanity is the wise man/woman. The person that looks back before death. Seeing the mistakes and regrets the youngsters will make before there end.
