Are the A- and B-teams working together more effectively with their captain's absence?
The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.

Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

To be honest, I think the real stars of this arc have been B squad. Without Lori around everything seems to flow better. These slowly updating huge panels aside (really this is something that would be better to release in a batch), I found myself more interested in their hijinks than Lori's predicament.

Obviously, it would've been great to be able to run the routine sequence all in the the same week... we're just down to the point where we're at the end of the 2nd book and don't have any new pages until the new artist is up to speed and the pages start rolling in. Thankfully, we're running PMS's huuuge finale each day of the week to make up for it.

Definitely, I can understand. I was speaking more from an artistic standpoint, with the "flow" of events feeling disjointed. PMS running the big finale shows the difference I think, since the pacing "feels" smoother. That sort of schedule is very demanding to do on a regular basis though and tends to lead to a lot of burnout (physically, mentally, and artistically). Knowing the fate of so many interesting web-comic (and other) ideas and stories over the years, I respect the ability of anyone who can remain dedicated to a regular update schedule for more than six months to a year without suffering a breakdown.

Since we're discussing the merger, here's a question for you Adam: what is the fate of the B Squad after this? Are they going back to background characters, or will they continue to get some of the limelight? Or to put it another way, with both series casts merging into one story, who gets to keep their focus and who gets left as an extra?

The 'B Squad' girls will still be around in much the same capacity they were in the Vegas story with about the same amount of page time.

I think that readers will find that Paranormal Mystery Squad will steal the spotlight out from under the Vampire Cheerleaders. After all, the crossover story is called... VAMPIRE CHEERLEADERS MUST DIE!

I am new to this board but have read pixie trix comixs for a long time. I just... I finally had to say something. I don't get all this Lori hate. In my opinion I find her story line and character the most interesting and fun to read about. She is my favorite character and I am sorry to those that disagree but I enjoy this comic more than PMS, I can't get into that comic. I read some reviews saying there is not likeable character in VC but I disagree, I find them far more intriging than any of the PMS characters.
I will be extremely sad if Lori ever gets killed in the comics, and I feel so bad for her missing out on the competition. I personally can't wait for her reaction to 'Leori'.
So to the creators, artists and all. I want to thank you so much for these amazing characters and comic. I am a huge fan and love the characters in this story. I want to thank you for PMS too, I might not like it as much as VC but still all your hard work is appreciated. To those that disagree with me, I totally understand. I just felt that someone had to defend Lori and I will gladly take up that banner.
Thank you all! ;;)

This pleases me. I'm glad they won't be forgotten. I really do think they compliment Heather and company very well.

Ah, I see. For some reason I had gotten it in my head that PMS was the one ending and merging with VC. Given a title like that however, the story should be exciting. :)

The webcomic run of PMS is coming to an end, but the story itself isn't. This crossover was always where the plot itself were heading towards.

The original plan was to have the crossover happen on the PMS site and to have VC go to go to one less page a week and run a different story. VC's site has the larger readership, though, so it just made the most sense to run the crossover on VampireCheerleaders.net and shift the other story for later.

It's my hope that the story will finally convert the PMS holdouts to full-fledged PMSers.

I'm hoping it'll convert me in to liking the VC's. I already like The Paranormal Mystery Squad (on account of them having personalities and stuff).

Hang on, VAMPIRE CHEERLEADERS MUST DIE! ?

Everyone here is free to their opinion on the webcomics. ^^
