I can't help but feel we're not supposed to take this scene very seriously. The look on Steph's face only amplifies the feeling.

"Someone needs a treatment" - is that a Dollhouse reference? :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

I am getting very curious as to how they're going to fix the dark ice queen's noggin...
The crazy will bust loose. Either in the stories or on the forum. Or both at the same time.

Mad theory: Eulice is actually a retired succubus. This explains why she says DiDi Chastel looks like she did in her younger years. She maintains her current form because it allows her to get through her day without having to turn down sexual advances.

I must have missed it. Now I've got an excuse to re-read the whole arc... I mean: Oh, the suffering! I'll have to go back and re-read the whole arc! Whatever will I do? [/snark, snark]

Woah! It got stuck into the wall! If that wall is made of concrete, then Stephanie's got a lot of strength with those scrawny arms of hers.

I'm pretty certain that isn't a concrete wall. Considering this location is based on Burning Man, it's most likely that this building was only errected a few days before the festival and is made to come down just as quick. As such, the walls would be a lot more lightweight. (Yes, it does kinda look like the crack pattern you might see in concrete or drywall, but I think that's artistic licence.)

Drywall would be reasonable for quick, temporary construction, so I'm guessing that's the answer.

Also, I went back and re-read Chapter 2 from the beginning. (Works really well reading straight through!) I found a "Prisoner" reference in #130 (well, the title is "Be Seeing You" so the whole strip is a reference, but panel 3 especially (with the gesture) is the clincher). I didn't find the other Dollhouse reference though. Maybe it's to something that happened after I dropped my 'cable' TV? If you (or anyone) could point me at it I would appreciate that. :ymhug:

Ah, I had wondered the significance of the 'Be seeing you' panel. Thanks. :-bd

The first Dollhouse reference is towards the end of the Lita briefing scene at Birthstone Palace. The line has "we" in it instead of the traditional "I."

So that would be the title of that strip then? "Shall we go", correct?
