Re: Let's talk about music!
So how come you are right and everyone else is wrong, Asha??
Megadeth HAVE made some pretty crappy albums, but everything at lest up to Youthanasia is great, and United Abominations is an awesome comeback..
Though 1 on 1, I do prefer Metallica, as even my fave Megadeth album is in the "great" category, but Metallic made two albums for all eternity - Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets.
And Ath: CoF... have also made some weaker albums, I'll admit (Damnatian and a Day and Thornography), but I love Nymphetamine, for example. So let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

No Don. You're wrong
and the only good thing about Nymphetamine is the title track, and that's only cos Liv Kristine (Leaves Eyes, ex-Theatre Of Tragedy) is singing on it.
Altho, one saving grace of Damnation And A Day is the song Babylon A.D. (Thank Christ For The Madness)

Re: Let's talk about music!
All right kiddies, let's be good and play nice. It's one thing to say you like a band because of this, or dislike another band because of that... which leaves it up to a matter of personal taste. Far better to discuss matters in this fashion rather than making a blanket statement that so-and-so is just terrible, no discussion needed, and that one person is wrong but I'm right.
Trust me, as someone who's grown up in a very musical household, I can understand how music can be something people can be exceptionally passionate about - but you can be passionate about something and still be considerate of your fellow forumites.

My Last.fm should go some of the way to explaining my music tastes.

Seems to be a lot of metal fans here.

Maybe we are just the most vocal!
Also, many people here listen to some metal, but also other stuff.

And I'm the chief of weird musical tastes. I can go from Children of Bodom to Jamiroquai and all over the place.
Also, I like you cause Bowie is one of your top artists.

Snap, although mine is more Dillinger Escape Plan to Marvin Gaye.
Thanks, it's always nice to meet anyone else into Bowie.
