Secret Santa

The rules of the 2008 Secret Santa are simple. Put a post below saying your name (or leave it blank- the idea is to get a list of who wants to participate). I'll gather up everyone's names, and assigning each person a number will use a RNG and an alphabetical list will give each person a precipitant. If anyone gets themselves I will re-roll, until the last pair who I will match by them both having no partner.
Got it? Awesome!

So what kind of gifts are we giving, being an online community? As people may not be comfortable trading addresses or posting goods, this Secret Santa will be kept purely virtual. For gifts, think outside the box while keeping it online. How about;
-An obscure webpage that person may like?
-A poem, song or story penned for that person?
-Custom artwork, either CG or scanned?
-Building an online shrine in their honour?

Use your imagination to create a gift suited to the person you are given.

I will do the draw a week from today (December the 13th). Please have your entries in by then simply by posting below. To avoid confusion, try to only post once in this thread; if you want to discuss it do so elsewhere, and if you want to tell me how brilliant I am ( ;) ) use a PM.

And I can tell you right here how brilliant you are.

After christmas, we should have a thread where people can tell of their presents. It would be fun if they kept the Santas anonymous, and others can guess and stuff. and we all get to give each other hugs and praises.

Edit: Some questions: What if we get an uneven number of people? And how will you tell the pairs?? Just PMs? And have I understood correctly that you choose pairs, so that persons A and B send each other presents?

Am I allowed to enter since the Beary-Mod is not allowed to show favourites?
