More like W-F-S, am I right?

Post by caturday3883 »

I've worked this comic into my daily routine, it gives me a lot of happiness, I contributed to the Kickstarter, but having weeks of "Oh, we're not posting" then really late updates (ZOMG 11:59 IS STILL THURSDAY LOL) is absolutely wacky.

Disappointed, and worried now that the two plot points (Gary's virginity and Didi's orgasm) have come to pass. Reckon MA3 was fun while it lasted.

I love that posts that are on time, if a tad late in the day, are cause for people to complain about the comic failing. If it's that big an issue, then check it the next day instead. Problem solved.

I've been late in the day but I haven't missed an update. I've been swamped with home renovations for a year now PLUS the Kickstarter, it hasn't been easy to keep up. Plus, I've been trying to take my Sunday's off (I normally only take Saturday off). I may have to skip an update online to get back on track online for the T-T-S schedule. We'll see. If the updating schedule bothers you, I recommend our twitter account or RSS to know when something is up. Otherwise, check the next day. There's still 3 updates a week.

Edit: I should note I even lost power today and lost working hours :|

Giz you have been very good with the updates, all things considered. I am happy that you took the time to respond, but I wouldn't let this post get you down. I love your work, and that of everyone at Pixie Trix.

With that said, you guys keep me hooked waiting (patiently) for each update. :) :-bd

Thanks, FlashD81 :)

Also, caturday3883, you said "Disappointed, and worried now that the two plot points (Gary's virginity and Didi's orgasm) have come to pass. Reckon MA3 was fun while it lasted."

Gary's virginitiy or DiDi reaching orgasm don't mean the end of the series. Gary needs to find the one. And DiDi is sort of in the same situation. But maybe that's not something that interests you. :-??

.....I have to admit that getting use to the current update schedule wasn't easy for me. When my routines are disrupted I can get a bit stressed, but even I managed to adjust.

As for the plot....one of my favorite sex-farce TV comedies lasted a grand total of 28 episodes. It came to an end when it really was time- when the lead couple had a baby together.

Ma3 will come to an end when its time. But Gary's loss of virginity hasn't transformed him into someone more confident. Didi achieving orgasm hasn't transformed her all that much either...and then there's Zii . . .and Sonya, Senna, Matt, Yuki and Kiley....

Yeah, we're still getting three updates a week and you're giving us warning in the event you can't. I don't think anyone can even claim you owe us any more than that :)

I highly doubt the opening poster is a troll. More than likely they are a relatively new reader that powered through everything fairly quickly. Calling them a troll without proof is unnecessary & fairly mean spirited.

My best guess is that they are coming from other web comics where the creator is both writer and artist who draws and posts the entire/month/sub arc on the site's back end in advance with an automated roll out.

If that is the case then yes, the ma3 universe is hella bizarre with its up dates. On a small handful of occasions giz and Dave have missed weeks at a time only to post a late explanation. That can be puzzling coupled with the website's coding sometime refusual to feed the update as the front page.

Life is hectic,we all understand that, but that inconsistency must be a shell shock to someone who expects prompt updates. I myself have wondered from time to time when the bloody hell the thing would update. Checking back during the course of the day only to have the RSS reader buzz at midnight est exactly.

More like W-W-W (Whine-Whine-Whine), amirite?

Giz has given her answer, no sense to keep this open.
