The Shortpacked/It's Walky forums were, at one point, a whole lot livelier, when they were hosted on the Nightstar Zoo. When the forum moved away from that, a lot of the regulars moved over, but the forums never really regained the spark which made them an interesting community. It wasn't until this forum started up that I saw that kind of community again, and I actually think we're a better community here than that one was.

I dunno, I don't particularly read any webcomics of special interest. I started with video game webcomics (AKA the worst kind) with absolute gems such as VG Cats and Ctrl+Alt+Del. I actually still read a couple, such as 8-Bit Theater, but for the most part, I've moved onto others like xkcd or Cyanide & Happiness. This is my full list, gaming ones included:

http://www.explosm.net/ - Cyanide & Happiness
http://www.spaceavalanche.com/ - Space Avalanche
http://www.notquitewrong.com/rosscottinc/ - Rosscott Inc.
http://xkcd.com/archive/ - xkcd
http://www.nuklearpower.com/ - 8 Bit Theater, Warbot in Accounting, How I Killed Your Master
http://www.awkwardzombie.com/index.php - AWKWARD ZOMBIE (<3 Katie Tiedrich)
http://hiimdaisy.livejournal.com/ - Hiimdaisy (just because they're so awesome, even though she takes forever)

Spinnerette - it's new, but looks promising. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to go through the archives.

It is worth it, Tenjen. Personally, I bought the PDF archives so that I could reread at my leisure.

i would actually enjoy sore thumbs if it didnt keep pushing random pages inbetween content [some were enjoyable].

i would enjoy the comic more in general, as well as the inbetweener fillings more, IF IT DIDNT SUFFER SO FUCKING MUCH FROM "TOO MUCH GODDAMNED INNANE TEXT IN A SINGLE TALK BOX IN EVERY FRIKKIN PANEL" syndrome...

sore thumbs counts as my least favourite comic that i like.

Order of the Stick - Stick figure comic in a world where D&D 3.5e rules apply. Also my favorite D&D site. Updates nigh-randomly.

Murphy's Law - A fan-made comic in the style of OotS. Updates just as randomly as OotS.

Sorcery 101 - Vampires, Werewolves, Sorcerers, Angels, and more!

Erfworld - A master of turn-based strategy games in our world gets sucked into a universe where those rules apply. He becomes a warlord and must help the people that summoned him win wars.

For people who enjoy sexual humor and the like, I suggest Nic Buxom, a Dominatrix's BDSM Webcomic. It's hilarious and interesting. I learn something new almost every time I read it!

I also really enjoy Namesake because it deals with old classic children literature which I love!

I suggest you guys check both of these out!

Just started checking this one out, and it has some potential, but too early to be sure: Vampire Cheerleaders

Devilbear is off to a decent start, though it's only once a week...

There is this new one involving some teen witches who get forcedly transfered to a new school, but I can't remember the title...

And I got to say that this page was one of the best Girl Genius update in a bit. Best reason to see the ending of an possession that I've seen in a while. Also, there is a print (and Kindle) novel of the events of the first three volumes. Mostly follows what happened in the comic, but there are some additional little details they were able to put in the text format that fans may enjoy, Agatha H. and the Airship City.

Nerf this. It is the only comic I have seen yet to update daily, and the guy who makes it also has two other full page comics that update sporadically, Scout crossing and Motokool.

Really? I know several comics that update on a M-F basis and one that updates daily with two other comics, one on a Monday/Thursday and Monday/Wed/Fri basis. Not all of them may be your taste.

We talk a lot about mythology on here, I've noticed, so a M-F (with special content on Saturday and Sunday) comic you guys might want to follow is Wayward Sons: Legends. It basically grabs mythology and takes its own sci-fi twist into how they came to be. It's a pretty inventive interpretation, if you ask me.
