I don't drink.

There was actually a show on the Food Network that my uncle was watching... I can't remember the name. One of the things that this particular place in Las Vegas does is scorpion shots. Which is exactly how it sounds (the alcohol of choice is tequila). I saw several being drank and every time, my reaction was a big "HELL NO." The owner of the place said that they were the only ones that he knew of to serve that kind of drink. I didn't look at the article but I'm guessing he's wrong?

Author loses his shit over a bad review on Goodreads. :-o 8-| L-)

(Pro-tip: This is how not to handle criticism.)
“It’s not an adventure if you don’t lose your shorts” - Hunter Gruntman (Klaus Besser)

No! That would be absurd! My whims are titanic in scope!

TL;DR :P

So it seems all the authors comments have been removed on Goodreads itself, but someone luckily archived part of the thread while they were still in it.

The thread has 721 comments right now...

Interestingly, the author rated his own book 5 stars. Alas, the review is gone as well.

Actually, the author is gone too!!! =)) Well, at least his user account. The author page is (of course) still there. He then whines about it on his blog (found a link via Google) but that is also gone.

That's actually kind of humorous. When he posted the first part of the book, I couldn't help but agree that it came off as pretentious and everything it was called.

Places like this make my heart happy. I can possibly actually belong somewhere.

...Either that or completely blew my chance when I got the Cochlear Implant :P Some Deaf people are very very against it.
