So today I learned there are accusations that Deviantart is playing host to multiple far-right groups, pedophiliac imagery, and oh yes, it's geo-banning anyone who lives in Syria 'in compliance with regulations from the U.S. treasury'.

i have cysts in my armpit. Probably a lymph node infection which I hope I am seeing the tail end of after a week and a half of this rubbish.

if they persist too long, i'll go to a doctor to have it checked up, just to make sure its not a symptom of something worse.

Right now, I feel like I'm in Hell...everyone in my family is sick including me, and this is lingering rather than getting better quickly. Plus, there's all kinds of drama with my family right now...I'm trying to get back to my normal routine.

I hear you, Artemisia. This year's cold is a right bastard. Took something like a week to ramp up, then plateaued and just hung there for another two and a half weeks, and the finally took another week or so to ramp back down. Drink ALL the tea.

Hello, everyone. Sorry about disappearing on y'all, but I'm in the middle of finally packing out from the latest post. We'll be headed back to the States for a year, then off to places beyond. It will be good to be back in the land of Texas barbecue and good Mexican food, but I will miss the local cuisine, especially the bread (non) and the somsa. I can live without the horsemeat sausage, though.

Welcome back, indeed. Both to the forum and the States.

They're done renovating the building my apartment is in but nowhere near done with the complex. They had to redo all the wiring so setting up the internet connection was a bit more difficult than connecting the router. It took a week to get it back on. So I'm back, I guess.

We've successfully moved the majority of our crap (well over 100 boxes and 7000 pounds) out of the house, but will wait for the last day to get on the plane. So we're living in a big, empty house for a couple of weeks.

So Yira, Artemisia, Don, Az, EoL, and every single one of you beautiful people, I thank you. And Yira, yes, getting the internet back after an absence is so nice. I hope your speeds have improved significantly.

Quite. I hope she's doing alright.

According to tumblr, she hasn't updated in a month. Which can mean she just hasn't been on the site that long. I'm sure she'll be back in her own time, though.
