In the news...
Yeah...when was the last time had created a new thread? Forever. Well this is about news that's currently being aired on the T.V. in your area, or on the internet that we should probably be interested in.
Personally there's always something going on in the United States, that it to me, barely get proper coverage it in its entirety. I would also like to know what's going on in foreign countries that don't speak English fluently, but is like saying something important. ...I also have a growing distrust with US government censoring everything, and treating me like a kindergartner who loves watching P.B.S. "public broadcasting system" that airs Sesame street, Barny, Teletubies, G rated animation geared towards children... etc.
Well enough of that. Here is something I bumped into just now: Anti-porn online law dies quietly in Supreme Court The funny thing is it came about after browsing 7chan last night. It would seem that there's been another board, or forum created called "Cake"...won't bother go into the specifics, but it made me chuckle at the irony of that being posted in a not so healthy environment. Definetly NSFW!

I'm somewhat bothered by the fact that a bill would last 10 years, and never ever been passed? What the hell was it ever favored for if it never got a chance to pass? Here's a snippet!

A federal law intended to restrict children's access to Internet pornography died quietly Wednesday at the Supreme Court, more than 10 years after Congress overwhelmingly approved it.
The Child Online Protection Act would have barred Web sites from making harmful content available to minors over the Internet. The law had been embroiled in challenges to its constitutionality since it passed in 1998 and never took effect.
Also Wednesday, the court ruled unanimously in favor of a Massachusetts schoolgirl and her parents in their effort to sue a local school district under both a 1972 law against sex discrimination in education and a post-Civil War civil rights law.

I'm surprised they caught him. Must have been an old road. He would have blended in perfectly on a new one.

Since the internet has been blocked at work, we decided to buy the paper to make it more obvious that we weren't actually working. This particular story made both my manager and I chortle.

I know you guys in England (prolly the rest of Europe too) call pedestrian crossing zones *Zebra crossings*, but that is ridiculous!
