Children, especially creative ones, get around rules all the time and you have to think of all the ways in which you can stop them from getting around the rules. For instance, also declaring that food and drink cannot be consumed within five feet of the tablet is a way of preventing him from doing this. When I was little, my mother told me not to lay a finger on the freshly plastered wall...so I took my father's bathrobe and ran it through the plaster. In my defense, I did not lay a finger on the plaster.
Come to think of it, I still have issues with phrases and statements.
