I'm also reading Sugo Chara. Its by the Peach-Pit who did Dears and other works as well. The art is utterly adorable and I'm such a sucker for magic girl stories.

Are you looking for something you can buy in English, or are scanlations OK?

In the latter case, I'd suggest popping into the shojo/josei section at Kotonoha. They don't actually note which are shojo and which josei, but a) it's Kotonoha, they're not going to have the typical shojo stuff, anyway, and b) it seems dominated by the josei.

I specifically recommend Cotton (which is what lead me to Kotonoha to begin with) and the various ones they have by Ebine Yamaji (particularly Love My Life).

Isn't xxxHolic supposed to be jousei? I mean, it's CLAMP, but... I don't know much about manga classifications.

Guys, whatever you do don't read a manga called Peepo Choo. It's fucking awful! The art is good and all but the story is crap. There is random ass violence and sex that adds nothing to the story.

@Sanzo: I've heard about that one, but I'm lucky enough to not have seen it anywhere. There's one about Wolverine as well, but it LOOKS like it would be about the Twilight characters. THEY MADE WOLVERINE PRETTY!!! Ugh... Not enough money in the world to get me to read that mess.

@Miss Vavavavoom: I know, right? This is also made by the FIRST non-asian person to get published in Japan! It's a HUGE accomplishment, but why did it have to be this huge mess?
