I am so jealous, DA. I miss snow so badly down here in Florida. When I had to move back here a few years ago, the last couple weeks in Philadelphia were just all fill of icky miserable nastiness... but two days before I came down, it snowed. And as awful as I felt, I was thankful that I got to see snow one last time before I headed down here.Don Alexander wrote:For all lovers and haters of snow and winter...

Re: Beautiful Sceneries
Well, it didn't really last long... I guess there will still be snow up at the observatory. We have a kind of mini-climate up there, it's always a bit colder there then even in the surrounding heights.
So far, this winter is putting on a decent show. But it's just entrés...
Really sorry to hear that about your date, DnE. Here's me hoping it will turn out good anyway...

Well, this thread seems to have been lost a bit...
Time to make people jealous again!!
We had light but steady snow all day yesterday... Alas, it's already thawing, so I captured some shots from the Geriatric Balcony.

Though I don't entirely envy the snow, the view is beautiful!
This is the view I'm stuck with:
And this is what I see on the way to work:
It just ain't Saskatchewan without a John Deere dealership:

CS, I envy you!
Here, the snow is mostly gone from the lowlands. Alas. 'Tis quite clear right now, a brilliant almost full moon... Wish I were up at the observatory, long exposures with snow and moonlight are always awesome.

Man the Four Kodiak Driven Sleigh is going to get tired with all this snow around the world to drive tracks accross.

Posse, they are truly lovely pictures. And even though it's Tennessee, that last image reminds me of a few places just slightly out of town in Philadelphia that I knew. I miss my home town sooo much.
