Here's a thought on Girls und Panzer. With their first two matches, Saunders and the 'British' team, they came out on friendly terms with both teams who seemed to have a bit of respect for our heroines. Miho's old school, Black Forest Peak, seems to have a 'winning above all else' that might be seen as off putting to people like those teams, and if they heard the story of Miho's 'disgrace' at Black Forest, may respect her more. I am fully expecting that the climax of the show/tourney will be Miho facing her sister, with a clash of ideologies being their central theme. But part of me wonders if some of Miho's former opponents might come to her aide in the final battle, either through advice/information, or maybe directly by loaning tanks (with or without crews). The grand moral being that friendship and allies are more effective than a 'victory or else' attitude.
Just my ruminations.
"Don't call me a dirty old man.... Cuz I'm not old... I'm of a fine vintage..."
"Get your mind out the gutter... you're crowding me."
