Girls und Panzer ep. 10 is out.

In which the Oorai girls make preperations, spend an evening together with their individual teams, and take the field against Black Forest Peak and overwhelming odds. Team A eats a meal together and then visit the flower show where Hana and her Mother finally make peace. The Tiger turns out to be Ferdinand Porsche's version and is given over to the Automotive Club for use because they are the only ones that can keep it running. Class Prez and team upgrade their 38(t) to a Hetzer. The PzKpfw IV gets a full suite of spaced armour for it's turret and skirts. The three new girls who take the Chi-Nu turn out to be World of Tanks players. I enjoyed seeing the various activities of the Oorai girls, especially the Freshman team watching Kelly's Heroes. The Black Forest Peak team uses the rules of the finals to bring 20 tanks to bear on Oorai's 8, the least of which was a JagdPanzer IV. Others included a Panther, a Tiger, a JagdPanther, an Elefant, a Tiger II, and a JagdTiger. A very overwhelming show of force, I wonder how Miho and Oorai will overcome. Unfortunately Nekota and Eye-Patch don't get to make much of a showing in battle, but they do (inadvertantly) save Miho's bacon from the silver-haired harpy.

And now the bad news:After next week and a showing of ep. 10.5, the last two episodes of the season will not be shown until March. Also it seems the season will only be 14 (12 plus the two .5's)episodes long rather than the 20 plus Anime Flavour was displaying, so not sure why they were doing that.

Part of me wonders if WoT was in the original dialog, or if that was something the subbers put over a more generic game. Did love the bit with Rabbit Team's movie night. And Maho is giving me hope that she might tell mama where to shove 'heresy'..

Talking to people who have watched the raw footage, the answer is "No." It said "online tank game" without mention of anything specific.

Kinda figured, but with fansubbers not being restricted by licencing as much, was a nice touch.

Would be fun to see an official WoT:GuP mod. ;)

Edit: I wonder if indications are strong enough for them to greenlight a quick official American release when they put it on disc.

I wonder if Maho's XO is gonna do something truly obnoxious, leading either to being what causes thier defeat/disqualification, or possibly giving them victory, but leaving everyone to like Oorai even more.

And I really want to know what that one production member did to right royally piss off the director and derail the schedule that bad.
