Well, just don't use a past participle without a modifier and you'll be fine. :p

zombie films

Post by jymmexy »

Are there any informational books on the history of zombie films? For my senior paper I'm researching zombie films and I really need to find one more source. The paper is focusing on the characterization, tone, and special effects over the years, starting with White Zombie, and ending...wherever it happens to end.

These two posts moved here. They did not belong in the School Bites subforum at all. The DAMNed

Don't know what you have already but just off the top of my head you might look up:

The Zombie Movie Encyclopedia by Peter Dendle
Book of the Dead: The Complete History of Zombie Cinema by Jamie Russell
Zombie Movies: The Ultimate Guide by Glenn Kay and Stuart Gordon

or for something a bit different, with a "hard scientific / police investigative" look at zombies, you might try:

Zombie CSU: The Forensics of the Living Dead by Jonathan Maberry
Grand Low Maker of Mischief, Claw of Chaos, Fang of Anarchy

politics: n. pl. from the Grk polis, meaning many, and the OE ticia, meaning blood sucking insects.

really good cheerleader

Post by chunmoon »

What is a cliché cheerleader like to you? I'm writing a story and it's kind of cliché - the cheerleader falls in love with one of the nerdiest boys in school. The narrator is the cheerleader, and the nerd is her tutor-turned-best-friend.
