Ok guys,

EC and MC should be working now.

Fixing the RSS feeds is a bit of a minor issue since the original feeds were generated by a script I custom tailored for the previous CMS. So to get any rss data I have to actually invoke comiccontrol's rss feed generator otherwise the feeds stay broken. It will fix itself eventually, but part of the reason I made the sites give 403 errors in the first place was so that I could fix things without being inundated with reports about features that I simply had not got to yet.

Believe me, not a day went by without someone going "did you know X is down?"

Huzzah! Thank you for what was probably a really hard, aggrevating job.

So, are the archives next on the list of fixes? Even if there was a hardcoded/simple-HTML page with a list of strips, it would be more useful than "Module: not found". Between that and the (intentional) lack of dropdown, finding any particular strip is a nightmare right now.

*mumble blush* erriecuties rss feed doesn't seem to work with IE10 or firefox (which offers to download it as an 'rss' file)

Am I the only one who still gets 403 errors for the forums on a regular basis? I often have to hit refresh 2-10 times to get the page. Have had this happen on my home PC, and on my iPad accessing the internet by various portals. In all cases, using the version of Chrome for that device.

No problems here.

By the way, Don: if there is a ghost in your machine, could it be the Phantom of the Opera? ;;)

If you run anti-malware software to remove the ghost, is that a Phantom Menace of the Opera, or just a Ghostbuster? :D

I forced an upgrade from php 3.0.x to 3.2.1, unfortunately that means stuff had to break.

I don't know why, but up until yesterday apparently everything as working fine with the older phpBB. People may need to re-upload their avatars/sigs if they were previously attached.

Well, I meant the look of the PhP BB forum per se. Different style.

I was somewhat worried as I had been actively using the forum and suddenly, upon hitting "Post reply", I got logged out and was told I had allegedly logged in too often and must solve a captcha to get in - which did not work either. I guess "0" is a valid number to set on the login attempts. ;)

Thanks for all your work! :ymhug:

I've had that "too many log-in attempts" thing come up a few times lately, too.

I am missing the 'view new posts' button on the front page of the forum...

Edit: Okay, found it in the 'quick links' tab....
