Only hot guy there's Neville Longbottom imho, and there's something seriously wrong with that statement once I said it.

So I'm watching Mad men and I think I've got a thing for guys in their 40s now. Which is awkward given the fact that I am afraid of old men IRL.

Also for their ladies.

Actually, slash that. Every single character in that show is so unbelievably hot, it's ridiculous.

Though typically the most charming guy of the group is also the only gay guy. Both in the show and IRL.


Though I do find it a bit annoying that the typical(and pretty much only) feminist character is also the most unattractive of the bunch.

BTW, if we're talking all-time faves...there are very few actors that I've had a crush on. Well, actually the only one I can recall is peter Saarsgard, back in the nineties(gotten a bit too old for my liking nowadays, and he cut his hair ). unfortunately he played mostly straight-to-TV movies. I still remember seeing him in some shitty movie called Freak City. I'd actually follow the TV programs when Freak City would be on Hallmark once every two months at the most horrendous hours(4-6 am slot usually), just so I can droll over him.

It's kind of ironic I had once opened a reasonably similar thread but it never found much resonance and was shoved into the archives quite quickly by a certain mod...

Teach, loved the Harry Potter article!! Of all the male characters, the most pleasant surprise was Scabior. While totally disshevelled and dirty, he still looks totally like an aristocratic French vampire... Of the pics actually posted, that of the actor playing Neville Longbottom astonished me the most! He for sure does not look hunky in the movie. And of course, Alan Rickman. BEATS. ALL.

Which kind of begs the questions about the girls of Harry Potter. I've always considered Emma Watson to be wayyyy to cute/hawt for Hermione - n-n-not that I'm really complaining. My big disappointment was Clemense Poèsy as the Veela. Come on, they have hundreds of millions of $$$ budget for awesome SFX and they choose an admittedly cute but not even really hot girl to play a non-human who is described to have superhuman beauty?? Hmph. I think the actress playing Ginny has turned out really well. Very cute. As is, of course, Luna Lovegood. The Parvati Twins are also quite rawr...

Edit: Don, I agree about Fleur....I remember thinking the Veela were so hot in the book that guys were literally falling all over themselves, and that's the best they could do for the movie? I didn't even know who she was at first!
