Artificial does not mean obtuse! ~Uno from Paperinik's New Adventures.
It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it become rigid and stale. ~Iroh
You can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others. ~Tarquin
The skin stretched and tanned, the striped suit sown into the flesh itself, the killer donned a new body, giggling to no one, "Wears Waldo."
This is here for future reference.

"Echo"
Why can't I see?
Why can't I see
All the colors
That you see?
Please can I be
Please can I be
Colorful and free?
What the hell's going on?
Can someone tell me please
Why I'm switching faster than the channels on TV?
I'm black, then I'm white
No, something isn't right
My enemy's invisible,
I don't know how to fight
The trembling fear
Is more than I can take
When I'm up against the echo in the mirror
Why can't I see?
Why can't I see
All the colors
That you see?
Please can I be
Please can I be
Colorful and free?

Spencer Day - 'Til You Come To Me
A sleepless night in the city
No peace and quiet in the city
It's hotter than the water from a boiler in
The basement of Hell
In this low rent, walk-up, broken-down hotel
Counting the cracks on the ceiling
Flat on my back, and I'm feeling
Lower than the roaches in the tunnels of the one and the nine
And the clock says that I'm half past losing my mind
Through the tick-tock-tick, I can hear the faucet drip
When the neighbors brawl, I can hear 'em through the wall
But I'm waiting, I keep waiting
'Cause I want you
I want you back again,
I can't remember when you and I were one
And I want to
I wanna change your mind
So I'm gonna bide my time, bearing my misery
'Til you come to me
A sleepless night in the city
No peace and quiet in the city
It's hotter than the water from a boiler in
The basement of Hell
In this low rent, walk-up, broken-down hotel
Counting the cracks on the ceiling
Flat on my back, and I'm feeling

Re: What music are you listening to...
Finally got today:
Wolves in the Throne Room - Diadem of 12 Stars (2016 Artemisia Records Remaster Rerelease)
Cradle of Filth - Dusk and her Embrace - The Original Sin
Diadem of 12 Stars may just be the best Black Metal album ever to come out of the US.
The Cradle is the original recording of this, their 2nd album, from 1995. They scrapped it, recorded V Empire to get out of their contract with Cacophonous, then rerecorded Dusk for Music for Nations. It's pretty good but one can see why they were unhappy. The recording quality is not the best (funnily, it sounds better than Diadems, but the music is quite different as well), vocals are too far in the background, it feels at times sloppily played...

That one's easy: it's because it sounds disgusting. Society's got nothing to do with that. ~Gotoh

Ghost - Cirice
A candle casting a faint glow
You and I see eye to eye
Can you hear the thunder?
Can you hear the thunder that’s breaking?
Now there is nothing between us
From now our merge is eternal
Can’t you see that you’re lost?
Can’t you see that you’re lost without me?
I can feel the thunder that’s breaking in your heart
I can see through the scars inside you
I can feel the thunder that’s breaking in your heart
I can see through the scars inside you
Can’t you see that you’re lost without me?

Steven Universe knocked it out of the park with this one. ;_;
I've been singing it almost obsessively since its release.
