Apparently, southern Manitoba's weather moved to Iceland. It's freakishly warm here, for January; snow is actually melting, exposing sidewalks & grass.
I'm OK with it, but it is a bit unnerving.

Yeah... according to the meteorological office, we're going to have 16-18m/s and precipitation of between 3 and 15 mm/h (which is more like 3-15cm/h in the mild frost that we're supposed to have). Weren't you speaking of that?

Yup, that system is steamrolling towards us right now, but SUPPOSED to miss. So I'm getting my snowthrower ready.

Weather for the next days here? Little rain, mostly just overcast. Still way too warm. :(

Mayyyybe temps will drop to around freezing on the weekend. Maybe.

If I'd wanted to go somewhere colder last week, I could have visited DnE in Florida, or Yira in New Mexico :) That might be the secret, Don. If you want colder, drive SOUTH :)

Here in Boston, MA, US, it's in the low 30's F (above 0 C) and very sunny.

It snowed all day yesterday and now it's sunny at 54 degrees.

We've experienced power outings due to the bad weather :o

Winter has finally arrived here too. Snow a couple of nights ago, then COLD. This cycle shall repeat for at least a week, according to the forecasts.
