So a person in my CI group was attacked for calling her child "deaf and dumb." It's been pointed out by several people that, while it's definitely a slur and a bad thing in the US, there are a lot of other countries where it's fine to say. It made me wonder if anyone in this group that's not from the US have any similar phrases and whether or not they're offensive.
