I think you've got DiDi's character right there. Some people here view her as brainless, others see her as a calculating seductress, but I think they are both wrong. She's a happy, sweet girl with a kind of open sensousness that springs naturally from her personality. She doesn't act as she does to seduce people, she just really
likes wearing as few clothes as possible.
Getting back to Dan Di Carlo...yes, I have noticed that style here. Oddly enough, Jaime Hernandez (who does my favorite strip, Love and Rockets) is a big Dan DiCarlo fan too, and it shows in his work. If Giz' DiDi is a kind of Betty with a bigger rack, then Jaime's Terry is a sort of punk lesbian Veronica.
I tell you one thing, though; if this was L & R, Terry or Hopey would have hauled DiDi into the bushes by now.
