Guess Gary can look forward to some teasing in the next few strips. He tripped and fell down the stairs with that response. His fantasy Zii almost makes me forgive him for being so awkward though

I think this comic is really cute. He did alright, even though adding the "not sexy at all" bit obviously gives it away. But overall I think the situation is setting itself up really well. I mean look: he's making contact... with a girl no less! And though I don't think I've ever really said anything about Gary hooking up with anyone, I do think they're really cute together in that last panel. The third one looks kind of like he's going to kiss her forehead. And throughout the strip, Zii's expressions look very soft, something that has been, so far, rare for her. I think she's enjoying the attention. All in all one of my favorite strips. I figure that once they leave, Junghan will think to himself that it actually could have gone a lot worse for Gary. And then ponder which costume to implement next.

Hmm... Gary's lucky that Zii is just quirky enough for that to have actually possibly worked in his favor.

I guess we can safely assume Gary is a cat person despite being allergic.

Ha! You're not fooling anyone, Gary, least of all Zii. Who by the way looks very pretty in this strip. By which I mean her face, not the furry stuff which has never done it for me. Zii usually makes such whacked-out facial expressions that it's easy to forget she's a cutie.
