I think Gary's mind is well into the process of cracking. What's going to happen is that he will crack enough that when Amber Amber comes to visit Zii, think he's cute, and do him, nobody will be able to convince him that it wasn't a particulary vivid madness induced fantasy.

I do believe Gary is referring to the fact that Jung said something about her being a boy at one point. When she had her shirt up. I'll see if I can find the comic! (Or someone faster can.)

Guys... don't be silly. Of course Gary knows that Zii is a girl, he was attracted to her when the comic first started. It's just Zii's general demeanor - and the fact she's more or less nice to Gary, when most girls aren't particularly nice to him at all - causes him to see her as "one of the guys," not literally A guy. Read this post again:

Oh come on. Gary's not THAT dense. I think the thing here is, until this moment, Gary's just been viewing Zii as "one of the guys." She's a friend. He KNOWS she's a girl (duh), but after first seeing the film with Zii and Amber, and now seeing her dressed provocatively without DiDi or Yuki nearby to grab his attention has him seeing her in a new light. She's gone from being seen solely as a friend he can talk about sex and stuff with (who just happens to be female), but a woman with a (very strong and obvious at the moment) sexual appeal.

It happens sometimes. You hang out with a friend all the time, then for some reason or the other, you go from just knowing their gender to NOTICING it and becoming attracted to them.

But can anyone explain the thing with the Jughead comic, i dont get or is Jughead some sort of a slang?

It might just be a coincidence (Giz & Dave just gave Jung any old comic to read), but as others have mentioned, probably not.
OK, here goes: Jughead is not the typical dude, in that he largely ignores women and is commonly immune to their charms. Gary has finally (or again) realized that Zii is a rather attractive young lady, so up to this point he was behaving quite like Jughead.
That's only my interpretation, though; perhaps somebody more knowledgable could explain it better.

I think Zii is loving being a sex symbol that that she is in her mind. Right now, I'm thinking she's liking having guys fawn over her and being the hottest thing around rather than Didi or Dillon-in-Drag.

I would like to comment though that the art in this comic was particularly excellent. I absolutely love Giz' use of Worm's Eye View in the 3rd panel for Sexy, Confident Zii. It really makes her look like she's feeling on top of the world.
