I think it's just Gary freaking over Zii, a girl, just casually announcing that they're going out to lunch together in the middle of the Nerd nest. Since she's looking unusually "feminine" on this occasion, it just hit Gary how a pretty hot girl is willing to spend time with him.

He'll probably just put some extra, unnecessary social weight on himself now that he had his little "epiphany".

That's an excellent point. Zii's being mean. Therefore Zii is now a real girl.

I'm as curious as anyone else as to where this may go.
Gary may surprise us and shock the heck out of Zi if he comes up with really good (and sincere) line to describe her skin. That may be his gift...sincere responses verses tired old lines that girls have heard a thousand times.
As for "pornstar" Gary... correct me if I'm wrong but I think Didi is the only one who's seen Gary's "equipment".
