Giz, would you explain to us exactly what Gary was suprised about? Was it Ziii being bi, or just the fact that she dated Yuki in the past?
Or should I just wait a day or two and find out in the next strip?

Aw. Well, I'll pretend I never saw that and go on reading it the way I thought it was supposed to be done. Nobody will ever know unless I make a YouTube video about it.Pinkachu wrote:If I remember correctly someone asked in the Q&A thread if it was three or trois and the answer was trois~ I like that pun though.

Unfortunately he only really wants that kind of attention from the ladies.MerchManDan wrote:Gary. You're my homey; better than that, yer mah BOY.
But I swear to whichever god is at the switchboard, if you say something as dumbassed as "What's the difference [between good & bad attention]?" again, I will turn myself into a cartoon, go to cartoon Montreal, hunt you down & hit you with a heavy stick until candy comes out.

I bet Gary likes tsundere heroines.DinoJake wrote: Okay Gary, let me put this in terms you can understand. Ever watched one of those lovey-dovey romance hentais? You know how when the girl and the boy eventually get together, it's because they genuinely cared for and loved eachother? How they never did anything to harm one another, at least not deliberately? Yeah, that's what we call "GOOD" attention.
And you know that bitch of an antagonist? The one that kidnaps the hero so she can rape him both physically and mentally? Yeah, Yuki's lesbianism is the ONLY thing keeping her from doing that to you.

Re: 21-11-09 Good attention vs bad attention
I've been reading this comic since it began, and have really enjoyed all the subtle things thown in. I always seem to question my position on the Nerd-Ladder after I see one little detail (and basically go "squee!" when I see it... But this one actually got me to join the forums. I tried to search, and I don't think anyone saw it, but I apologize if this is a re-post.
The X.A.N.A. Shirt. I cannot BELIEVE I knew that one. Or how damn long it took me to remember what the hell it was. How long has this particular strip been up, and I hadn't seen it.
I feel ... nerd-tastic.
Excellent work as always.
Gary, I'd say don't screw this up, but you really did already by asking Zii.

Incidentally Gary's dialogue does indicate that he realizes she swings both ways. She says she's bi, and he says "Yeah but..."
I suspect he figured while she was bi enough to have a one night stand, she wasn't far enough to the lesbian end to have an ongoing same sex relationship. He may be lucky she interrupted him.

I'm not really the first one to point out that Zii is wearing a JET shirt, am I? Hopefully I'm not the first one to love it.
