It occured to me that the insignia was pointing down (they are Canadian, durr on my part) and there are two chevrons. That makes the stripper a Corporal.

Corporal Stripmistress sounds good.

I think those are the lines around the two chevrons. Low resolution is the problem. There is no three chevron symbol in the Canadian armed forced unless it has a maple leaf over it to indicate they are a sargeant.

Unpopular opinion: I don't like this update.

Why? Because we're already getting into territory where the plot is making less and less sense, and seems to be there just to facilitate the gratuitous nudity. Don't get me wrong, the nudity is good and sexy and I like it.. but ever since the beginning of this story arch, the plot has been extremely weak without furthering character development as strongly as in previous archs. I don't post much on the forums but I've been reading the strip for a few months, and this half of the chapter has just been really frustrating for me. I think the developments on the Gary/Dillon have at least been logical jumps of the story line. And the whole DiDi/Sandra thing made sense up to a point. But every update in the strip club so far has rung inconsistent to me, and with this strip my willing suspension of disbelief has just run out. I've always kept this strip separate from porn in my head because the nudity is generally integral to the plot (the very very sexy plot...). I think this update crosses that line.

Generally speaking I like this comic, and like where the stories have gone. Really, it's just this storyline and this update that go too far for me. I don't mean to be a party pooper, I just felt like I needed to speak up.

Also does a Staff Sargent only have three stripes in the Canadian military? Wait, do Canadian's even use the grade of Staff Sargent? It's been a while since I have had dealings with our Northern brothers. Anyhow, it's four stripes in the American, so just wondering. Three stripers are often called Buck Sargents so that would rather work for where you were going as well I think. ;)

The Canadian military, being much smaller doesn't have as many ranks. The staff sergeant rank doesn't exist. 3 chevrons would indicate a sergeant in the Canadian army. Of course that isn't the standard army issue mini-dress and in the first panel it looks like she only has two chevrons which would be right for Corporal Punishment.
