Hmm, who wants to set the odds for Zii losing that key before she gets home? Like forgetiing to unsnag it from that glove after changing at the end of her shift? :D

Wow, Yunghan's got a conscience after all.

Not MUCH of one, granted, but enough of one to realize Zii's done a bad thing.
I swear I will, I'll make you smile.

She actually thought that she left the key with Yuki? Ho boy, Zii might be in even deeper trouble, at least with both Gary/Yuki.........

I like how Junghan loved the craziness because it made the comic store money..... and that he did care a little for Gary, although he didn't say that the police were after him or not.....

Zii may have led to the most successful day in the history of the comic book store.

But by having the key in her possession, she is continuing the story of "The Misadventures of Gary and Yuki."

Meanwhile, Gary fears for his life from both the police and when Yuki does wake up. Wait until he runs past Didi's workplace and she gets involved.

Oh, what will happen next??

I love Zii's expressions as usual. Especially in panel 2. :D

So Zii isn't quite as sociopathic as I thought, that's good to know. Seems like Jung missed the end of the show, somehow, or he'd be more concerned... Or maybe not.

Love Zii's face in the second panel.

Wow, I called 'em both!

Junghan making more money because of the street show AND Zii making a roundabout way back into the store to avoid Yuki!

:-? Seems Zii is a bit less a bitch than we thought - she did not (as Yuki believes) run off with the key on purpose...

Hmm... sooo Zii didn't take off with the key on purpose? :-\ Thats going to get her in trouble... muhahaa :ymdevil:

Junghan may have a slight conscience, but seems he's still thinking about money first and the boost to sale that he's gotten rather then the wellbeing of his friend and staff. Also, he seems to have no qualms about searching through Gary's bag and his artwork, which again seems to have no effect on him despite causing a kinky Japenese girl to bug out and faint... He must have the libido of a Vulcan or something to not be affected by that.

Next strip is certainly going to be alot of fun.... :D

Or maybe he's just really jaded and needs the REALLY freaky stuff to get a reaction.

Slight dis-agreement with Beary-mod. At first, I thought je was going through Gary's satchel as well, but looking at it again, the book/paper/comic he has in his hand looks like it has a protective wrapper over it (practice safe reading kids!) It could be that Junghan is putting Gary's order into the bag as a form of repayment for the show. Even if it's $25 worht of comics , I am sure the increased business will cover that quite easily. Junghan would know what his order was -all good bookstores keep a client list- and is ging to send it back with Zii. Who just might take a look inside and see the Yuki joygasm-inducing picture.

Hmmm... second look you could be right about the mylar bag... Still, I think Junghan would have taken a look in the bag as Yuki did faint and Gary copped his feel before either of them had time to put the image she took out back into the bag.

Not so much, actually. The lines could be a sign of reflection on, or a wrinkle in, a polybag, but there's not even a hint of a cover image or title, which would suggest we're seeing the back, but a polybagged book would have a flap visible in the back - either folded down and taped for a back-issue, or on a new book which wouldn't be taped closed, poking up above the top of the book (which would most likely be visible from the front, too) - if bagged by the company to contain a tip-in, or because it's an adult book that they're trying to keep kids from reading (not as common with comics as the kind of porn you can buy in convenience stores, anyway) the seam of the bag would be visible at the back. (I have never seen a magazine, either comic or porn, factory bagged, that wasn't sealed at the back rather than the side.)

A carded action figure would have a hole for the hanger at the top - also there'd be an image there - and the corners would be rounded. A boxed fig, or statuette, etc, wouldn't be held like that.

The lines are either an indication Gary uses glossy paper, or else just a slight warp in the paper from how Junhan's holding it - or possibly a wrinkle from Yuki's reaction to it.

I will disagree with Bear on one thing, though - he's not necessarily going through Gary's stuff - maybe just putting the page Yuki pulled out back. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he was going through it.
