Maybe it's built into an incline?? My appartement is like that. Front door, I go up one flight of steps. But look out the balcony, I'm up two stories. The basement appartements (from the front) are ground level at the back. Might be the opposite here.

Perfect text manipulation, "box" is just bold enough that you'll catch it if you're paying attention, but not so bold that it jumps out at you. Dillon as a character seems to exist as the counterbalance to Zii. He continues to be the one character that gets the best of her from time to time. Every single facial expression in this one is fantastic, but Dillon in panel three definitely takes the cake.

We're just not used to them over here in the UK as they're very uncommon, as are appartments above the first floor like this one seems having a back door. Usually the fire escape is out of a window.
