And to start us all off...

DiDi is definately my favourite character of the strip so far. No its not the typical male thing of 'OMG BOOBIEZ!11!!00!!1' or the skimpy costumes, mass ammounts of jiggling and everything else sexual about her... So why do I love our lovable Amazon DiDi? Quite simply its her personality. That sweet sense of innocence, the way she manages to flirt without even seeming to realise she's doing it. The way she manages to get on with everyone and genuinely seems to like and want to care for them so quickly. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a nice girl with a sexual side, but there so much more to DiDi then just a pair of boobs to me and thats why I love her.

It seems this is a "condensed re-vamp" of the old "The society for the appreciation of..." threads.

From my side, I'm a Zii-Guy. I'm not a big fan of blondes. I'm not a big fan of epic boobs (Yes. Really!). I like tall girls, but little pixies are often sooo adorable. And while Zii has presented us many parts of her personality that might be off-putting, I like girls with rough edges. Up to now, DiDi is just too perfect for me. I think she is boring. Of course, there are hints that this will change (her sad face sleeping next to a snu-slewn Eric), so I will keep an open mind. Zii, on the other hand, has shown betterment recently. Not that I ever had any doubt in her.

I sympathize with Gary, but, like most guys, I often have these "Guuuuuuh-ry, you blithering idiot!!!" moments. But I think he will grow too. I like his honesty.

I belong to the fraction that thinks Dillon sucks. Though the newest comic has made up for that. Matt seems ok, but he's a quiet guy anyway.

The cat Lita is cute, though has not made many appearances yet. I like how she has claimed Gary as a new friend, despite Zii saying she hates everyone.

Mme Eulice DeVille is, of course, awesome. I have to say this, I don't want to get zinged by her Sith Lightning Bolts.

Can't say much about Junghan yet... And Reagan-Person must return!!!

We needed a condensed version that people could easily cross comment on all the characters at once that was within easy reach of the actual strip threads so that we don't clog them up so much with character ponderings.

Yes, I like Rob, too. "Is Reagan still president?" is a great line.

Although right now my favourite character is a toss-up between Gary and Zii - I used to be socially inept like Gary (and in many ways I still am) and Zii is showing that there is more substance to her than we thought.

More DIDI is all that I'm saying...

And why was, DiDi, looking terribly sad-- could it have been the sex?

Oh, nice idea.

Yes, Bear, I am with you on DiDi. She truly is a warm, kind person, and I really like her open, un-selfconscious sensuousness. She knows how nice her body is, and she doesn't mind at all when others admire it. And yet, there seems to be trouble in paradise too. Look at how she deals with Erik: she can't remember the poor guy's name, for Pete's sake, she ignores his pleas for a break when they're shagging, and in the end it obviously isn't enough for her--though in what way we don't know yet. Is DiDi being selfish, or just...well, kind of oblivious? If she is, maybe it's because men tend to be oblivious to her, at least emotionally? Whatever her problem is, it indicates that this girl is deeper and more serious than she looks--and more sensitive too. That makes me love her all the more.

Oh, gosh, what can you say about Zii? To tell the truth, I can't decide which of these girls I like more, DiDi or Zii. Zii is smart, witty, outrageous, and very entertaining. She's also irresponsible and at times a serious pain in the rear. She's a perv with a guy-on-guy fetish, but she can be surprisingly kind and sensitive with Gary. She's very pretty and very, very sexy, but sometimes she seems to be very sensitive and maybe a little insecure about her looks. She's bisexual, apparently with a heavy lesbian tilt, and she seems to be a little worried that she might get attracted to Gary (guys are for amusement, but girls are for reals, Zii?). She's a wild and crazy sexual sophisticate who will do anything at least once, and she claims to be an expert in getting laid; but she's all alone when we meet her, and she seems to be falling in love with DiDi, not merely in lust. She's quietly beautiful in one frame, and a screaming Carol Burnett-Tex Avery loony in the next. She's a bundle of contradictions, and I think she's the most interesting and complex character in the strip as well as the funniest.

Gary has depths we didn't expect, but he frustrates me; he's the weakest of the three main figures so far, and Dave and GIz have to give him some backbone and some energy if he's going to hold our interest.

I don't trust Dillon AT ALL; he's a troublemaker who likes to play with people's heads, and if Gary is smart he'll change the locks as fast as he can. I shudder to think what he'll do with his new found knowledge of Zii's unemployment and DiDisexualness.

Zii... she does seems to be the epically crazy pixie chick who can bounce from one thing to another in a matter of milli-seconds. I still peg her as something of a trustfund brat, though with her not admitting to what her job is still, or even the lack of one... you have to wonder what, beyond being caught masturbating on the couch could embaress Zii... a girls who's openly talked about sex and her love of Gay Porn and DiDi groping.

And Dillions personal space violation on zii is only karmic retibution for hers... but he defiantely seems to like to get everywhere regardless of people feelings. Even if he did live there and even if he was expecting no-one to be home, I'd not like someone sneaking around my house when I was out even if I do know them.

o.o my husband does act like Dillon at times, but it is an effort for him. Before we met he was trying to shake off his reputation as a nerrrrd no girls would talk to into a player. And then he met me and got married. >.>

Dillon actually reminds me of several gentlemen I know/have known. One of them is a regular at the restuarant I work at and all the other waitresses hate him. I think he's hilarious. He gives me a hard time but I give him a hard time right back. And he leaves a 50% tip. So! I'll take mind-games and big tips over high maintainance and no tips.

I want to see more of Matt. Clearly he can deal with these mind games (or find them as entertaining as I do) so I wanna see how he handles them.

Didi is a sweetie, but as people have pointed out she also may be playing mind games with people. Either way she's awesome.

Makes a whole lotta' sense if you ask me. ...It can be very overwhelming at times, trying to add input after given the shortest amount of time for replies in a single thread, makes the moment kind of dry. I've noticed would love to continue talking about a particular thread in definite. Bear, since when you've become a Thread Guru of late, hmm?

Ray D. You've said a mouthful and then some; Funny, how everything that came to mind but put off due to my inability to nail the characters down quick enough like others *koff-Evil-koff*. I always felt that Didi appeared more than meet the eye, far-far from being solely there for eye-candy; A round character, looking more flat and bland due to the fact it's all about Zii, Zii, Zii--etc-etc. I'm not a fan of Zii, however, she does have her moments.
