I had to go into tbe archives to look up when we last saw Izzy. The last strip she was in Zii had given her a "Don't be like me" speech. Now, while Zii was refering to how her libido ruined friendships and hurt people she cared about, Izzy seems to have taken it differently.
So that's why the sudden transformation

But after taking a closer look at Izzy's new hairstyle and then comparing it to Kiley's, Izzy's hair is actually a bit longer and the style is different compared to Kiley's hairstyle here:
Notice how Kiley's shirt is a different style as well. Izzy did a better job trying to copy Zii than trying to supposedly copy Kiley but who knows maybe Brasca is right and Izzy is Kiley's new patient. That would be one way for Kiley to come back into the story. But there are only 13 more updates so I'm not going to hold my breath. We'll probably find out on Thursday's update.
