Of course, Peggy is sane and rational enough to ask for some context — what this was all about — before she passes any judgements, and honest enough not to get hypocritical about Gary not being faithful to her. But DiDi is another matter; she’s fully capable of any amount of solipsistic nastiness these days.

+1. Peggy knows Gary has the hots for Zii. Therefore, she could put 1+1 together and come up with what is actually going on between Gary & Zii. Whether she will be happy for Gary, or care even considering the horrifying night she's had, is another matter entirely. Didi on the other hand is clueless, not having the context or the information to determine the correct choice/answer. Similar to how she just lost Lynn, she did not realize what was at stake and took for granted too many assumptions. Therefore, she should naturally return to her self centeredness. Unless she thinks that Gary & Zii are fighting and Gary yelled what he did as some sort of retort. Then I could see her interjecting. Hard to say, what with the night she's had. In any case, breakfast around the table next morning should be most interesting indeed.

Also, I’m struck by the way that Gary is actually being a bit more verbally explicit and blunt than has usually been the norm in this comic. It’s never been shy about sex, obviously, but people in the strips don’t often talk about “screwing” and “blow jobs” in so many words on screen. I’m sure that they use such words and cruder plenty off screen, sure, but writing things that way keeps the tone light and naughty rather than crass or crude. I guess that one could say that Gary is still a bit too nerdy to have mastered the art of erotic euphemism, or that he’s now too mature and honest to duck the plain truth when necessary.

He is being rather blunt, especially for Gary. But from even early in the comic's inception, they have shared frank sex and porn discussions many times. I'd bet a dozen Tim Horton donuts that Gary is at least at half mast right now, all things considered. This is the closest he's gotten to the woman he's declared as his fantasy woman AND she wants him. He's excited. Understandably, words would come out more naturally and not need to be hidden by euphemism. And they were alone (apart from Lita) and had no reason to think that they'd have been interrupted... for hours at least. Like a previous poster mentioned (@Error of Logic), it is reminiscent of when Zii blurted out her love/lust of Didi in front of Erik. I'm just wondering if Didi will understand. Or if ZIi will come to grips that she wants Gary. Whether that implies that Zii also wants Didi simultaneously too, I don't know. Didi's unhealthy and unempathetic obsession with orgasms has to be nipped in the bud.

I like the expression on ZIi in Panel 1, but her face in Panel 2 is what made me laugh. She looks so frantic and crazed. Her libido must be driving her mad right now. I expect the next scene we see Zii banging someone, she'll start off looking like rabid Didi here.

And they got interrupted before they could even get started.

Now that Gary has Zii all fired up, she might be willing to give Didi an opportunity to try to satisfy her. If Didi is given the chance to get her orgasm, all other issues and questions will be shoved aside. That leaves Peggy to ask questions about the current situation and she might very well be happy enough to be safe and sound that everything else is for another day.

They better simmer down. All that yellin' could attract the Wrath of Eulice!

Most likely not. But I wouldn't put it past Zii to bring up the whole 'open relationship' angle to Didi and ask to sleep with Gary. I don't think Gary would appreciate being a side item to ZIi, as it would be no different than his relationship with Peggy, really. Zii needs to be a free agent, I feel, in order for her to be able to feel free from the possibility of hurting Gary... and for Gary to truly feel like he could have a lasting relationship with her in return.

A lot will depend on how this awkward moment is received, considering the horrible nights that Peggy & Didi have had. Like, "whose blood is that?" would be a rational and legitimate question from Gary to Peggy.

I don't think that the details of Gary's score card are terribly interesting by now, beyond the facts that (a) they're clearly insanely extensive, and (b) as I said, we don't know them. The point is, if anyone asks "Has Gary ever <had specific sexual experience X>?", the answer is "Probably Yes, so what?" He's not the pathetic virginal loser of volume 1; the joke now is more about him feeling a bit used, and wanting a relationship with a bit more depth, because if anything he's actually getting bored of all these diverse sexual experiences.
