Genuinely one of the most, at least, visually beautiful kisses in the strip; the emotional aspect is a bit iffy, due to factors such as Zii's routine denial tactic and Gary's old fashioned obliviousness, as well as his long-standing and previously understandable belief that no woman would feel anything from him, let alone from him giving a simple kiss. Also, even if her relationship with DiDi is tantamount to worthless, her current delusion is that it is worth fighting for, thus it does seem she is edging precariously close to her repeated vice of adultery again.

Back to the art: I did find amusement in Zii's exaggerated expression and body language in panel one, as it emphasises her aforementioned sense of denial. Plus, to panel 4, the shock in her eyes is priceless; not to mention the little man in the canoe being a simplistic but hilarious visual pay-off to the panel 2 premise.
Not to pre-empt, however, can't help but think of likely next steps - will Zii push him away and retreat due to seriously conflicting emotions or will she go to the nth degree with the smooch?

Way to patronize, Suzi...
Well, let's see what happens next. Will she give in to her libido, or will there be a bit more development? ^_^

Dave and Giz are SUCH hypocrites.

They won't give us any more nipples, but looky here -- a clitoris! Admittedly, a cartoon depiction of one, but still...

And Gary hasn't started the swirling yet...

I think it would be a great throwback to when Gary came getting kissed by Zii.

Guessing that canoe is going straight up the river known as de-nile.

If that was the case, then that canoe would be way more beaten up and filled with holes. Because she's been in 'de-nile' about Gary for awhile until just recently.

It’s been beginning for a couple of strips now. If anything, G&D are stretching this out rather. This strip may be playing amusingly with the metaphor, but is it really necessary to the plot?

And Gary may be much more clueful now than he used to be, but he still can’t see through a ridiculously thin comics-conventional denial.

I'd be willing to pay extra for the next volume if that last panel is still colored. There's been other panels with color and guest art that unfortunately were printed in gray scale. http://www.ma3comic.com/strips-ma3/A_sweet_pair

Can someone verify if Adobe Portable Document Formats are all black and white like the physical publications or do they match what's on the website?
