Okay, Gary is still being written as a rational being. He just has to watch the twinges of jealousy. The Feels are complicated, and it is reasonable to think that he hasn’t quite got the hang of them yet.

Now, can G&D resist the urge to transform Bianca into a significant new character at this point in time?

Perhaps Bianca is that old friend from college. Seems like it.

Hard to tell if Peggy is reacting to Bianca patting Peggy's rear or if Peggy has spotted Gary. Or both. I'm betting on just the former, though.

Gary would do well to about face at this point. Don't follow them. Curiosity is piqued by us though, and Gary probably still has a little bit of a lesbian porn fetish. Watching a woman he likes getting a very friendly pat might be a little too much for him to resist.

Maybe the date is basically over now? It isn't a fabrication for Gary to just state that he was leaving Matt's house after dropping off some stuff to Yuki and he just ran into them. If he picks up that he is intruding (admittedly not Gary's strong suit) he can just excuse himself.

As far as introducing Bianca, I am a little surprised. I suppose it is better to have a new character should a certain personality be needed. Ma3 certainly has a large enough cast of characters to have chosen from, but it has room for more. Plus seeing as how Bianca is an 'old friend' and we haven't met anyone from Peggy's past apart from Aishani and her ex-fiance, a newer character is justified. I just hope she is interesting.

Peggy has never mentioned one specific old friend from college. I had the impression that she ... dabbled ... a lot. But one specific past fling was never ruled out.

And I don’t think she’s spotted Gary. Her head isn’t turned enough, and Bianca’s pat is plenty to distract and surprise her. Also, yes, it appears that dinner is finished; they’re walking away from the restaurant. Must’ve been an early booking. Or, wobby Ma3 timescales.

Gary seems to be indeed guided by subconscious thoughts, thus he remains at least consciously aware that crashing the date is a bad idea - his unstated anxiety is overriding his common sense, as well as ignoring his knowledge on how much it sucks for someone to make assumptions about another's feelings and desires.

@worldshaking00 That's a good point about Bianca possibly being a friend that Peggy alluded to experimenting with in college!
It would be a bit too late in the game to introduce a new noteworthy character, however, she being a past connection would allow for an exception.

Looking at her fairly gender neutral fashion (very akin to Lynn's), Bianca does appear more likely to be gay, but the pat on Peggy's butt could still have a couple of interpretations - Bianca just has a "bro-y/sports player" mentality of providing light buttock taps as a sign of appreciation, or she wasn't experimenting in college, in that she is actually a lesbian and harbours romantic interest.
Although, judging by the exclamation point above Peggy, as well as her expression, she wasn't expecting the butt-slap; so, Peggy may have unwittingly suggested some reciprocation of a more intimate affection due to the reminiscing of their college days, or, if Bianca is just being friendly, Peggy was simply startled and it is a false alarm to spook Gary.

Oh, I’m sure that Peggy and Bianca goinked in college; this strip makes no sense otherwise. It looks like Bianca may have been a little more committed to lesbianism, or at least to the relationship, than Peggy was, but whatevs. We’ll find out whatever details are actually important to the plot soon enough.

The text is ambiguous. It could mean that Peggy went through a phase at college or knows "gay until graduation" is a thing and is referring to that to justify playing for the other team for once.

Apart from the foursome with Matt, Gary and Kiley have we seen Peggy having sex with another woman? If she is genuinely bisexual rather than being nice to Didi it's mildly puzzling that she seems a bit reluctant to help Didi given Didi's status as the object of lust of just about every warm blooded human being in the MA3 world.

She was perfectly willing to help DiDi. If she was slow to begin with, it’d be because she currently seems to prefer to identify as straight, and anyway shagging someone you’ve quite literally only just met is a little unconventional for an Only Sane Woman. Even so, she noted that DiDi could turn her Kinsey 3.

Her own assessment of herself is Kinsey 1-2, and I see no reason to disbelieve her, especially as the print volume cast page agrees. Willing to give lesbianism a go given some reason, but really prefers the other team most of the time.

That's what it looks like to me too. However, Gary doesn't know this. Only Didi knows.

Let's not forget that when we first met Peggy within three strips she had poured pasta over her ex's head, had offered to go into a broom closet with Eric before going off with an obviously drunk Sonya to find Sonya's ex purely because he was fond of "going down on ladies".

Her "Only Sane Woman" label may apply most of the time but it's not like she doesn't have her moments.

Two things:

1) I guffawed at Gary's pompous statement: "Idiot feet, you've failed me for the last time!" Last time??? What's he gonna do, sentence his feet to the gallows?

2) The scene of Bianca and Peggy reminds me so much of Lynn and Maura. Bianca dresses like Lynn in a suit (standard fashion statement for butch lesbians on dates?) and her seduction strategy seems to include making you laugh almost to the point of peeing yourself:

Apart from Peggy saying that she is a 1-2 on the Kinsey scale (or turned 3 by Didi), she was willing to "pretend this is college" to help Didi:

At the time i took it as a classic "everyone does experiments in college" joke, but it seems now we have the responsible for the "experiment". ;)

Incidentally, Ménage à Zombies (obviously not canon, but apparently consistent with canon in some character details) has a passing line from Peggy about her college days which hints that she was kind of ... sapphically busy.

A wild new character appears! :-o (Had NOT expected this so late in the game)

I now expect people to speculate that this will be the titular "Ma3"... :-?

Well, traditionally, every woman who appears in this comic and meets Gary has to have a thing for him — frequently to his disadvantage. One might say that having an actual certified lesbian in the cast would be more unusual, but I guess some of the wrestlers cover that base.

Getting Bianca into bed with Gary and Peggy might feel a bit too fanservice-y, but on the other hand, it might make a nice twist if this plotline built toward a traumatic conflict, only for all the characters to show an admirable preference for making love and not war and having fun together.

However, I think that we’re wandering away from the obvious option this story is heading towards; Gary being damaged by his unaccustomed feelings.

O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock./The meat it feeds on...
