Well, in spite of how doomed the relationship will inevitably be, it appears as thought the Yuki/Matt pairing is set? Though, I suspect and hope that Kiley will return from the ethos, and Yuki will realise two things - she is, in essence, *betraying* a friend, even if it was unwittingly, and secondly, that Matt is a self-absorbed egotist as bad as Zii or worse, thus isn't worth having affection for or being with.

I'm a tad incredulous that Matt would use a word like "perspicacious."

I did get a chuckle from the Scooby Doo-esque way Gary retreated from the apartment.
It is good to see that he remained adamant against the ludicrous notion that he should "rescue" Peggy, especially since her dinner date is most likely not a romantic one, and even if it is, nothing good could come from him crashing it. Whether Gary will stay the course of common sense is up in the air, but hopefully he won't be an idiot; the characters of the strip do often *impel* others, rather than communicate, however, Peggy is straightforward, thereby wouldn't be one to send vague coded messages within a factual statement.

Oh dear, Matt and Yuki have turned into the Joker and Harley of Ma3. Only with sex instead of violence, because Ma3. Best just to leave them to it.

And despite all his blindingly obvious good sense, I fear that Gary will still trot along to walk past La Filet; he is a bit gullible, and he’s prone to geeky curiosity. Hey ho.

Yuki wouldn't be betraying anyone. Kiley broke up with Matt, remember? He's free game. If Kiley got upset about anything it would be that Matt has made far more progress with Yuki than Kiley ever had.

As far as the relationship goes, Matt already said he hasn't had the urge to cheat since he started seeing Yuki; largely due to the fact that none of his previous lovers have been as rough with him as Yuki has (whether he says this because he likes a rough woman or he lives in fear of what she'd do to him if he dared to cheat on her is another story). Either way, he's been faithful to Yuki since the moment they hooked up.

Besides,as far as terrible choices in lovers go, Yuki is hardly a prime choice, either - given her excessive clinginess/possessiveness of those she's dating. Hell, it's the entire reason why Zii broke up with her, in the first place.

And her tendency to karate kick crotches, can't forget that.

Gary generally gets involved in the stupid when he's pushed into it by others. As of the final panel he's resisting.

The only way he would be going into Le Filet is if it's on the way home, and he glances in the window and sees that Peggy is sitting alone. Or is with Gary's creepy boss.

Yes, Gary has grown so much that he can notice a bad idea and think for himself. What development. Yuki and Matt, no one wants to see you get it on.

Gary is a slow learner, but he is a learner. Last time with J&T, it took him much longer to realize he had to vamoose, and then he just walked away. This time, he realized it immediately, and he ran like the wind. He's getting better! *thumbs up*

I just wonder if he remembered to leave behind Yuki's comic pages...

My thoughts exactly. Lmao at Gary in the last panel. And I'm foolishly hoping that Gary runs into Kiley somewhere since Peggy is no longer an option for him. But unfortunately, it seems that most of the readership and the creators themselves want Gary and Zii to be the final pairing.
