Yeah, I meant the current visit felt like a rebound; I know their original coupling was planned, deliberately set up clumsily, but it was still organised rather than being a spur of the moment .
Perhaps I misread it, however, the fact that Gary was driven to call Yuki immediately after finding out Peggy wasn't an option just seems like a rebound.

Ah yeah. I can see that. I think its less of an romance rebound.
and more of a rebound of "lesser friends"
I don't think he was after any romantic stuff. I think he just has very limitted friends in general (he really does.. these days..) and he had a good excuse for Yuki (the work)
