Then you need to look more closely. People aren't objecting to Tracy having or enjoying being on a cam show, nor are they objecting to Gary being a part of it per se. They're objecting to Tracy assuming that Gary will go along with it immediately, with neither advance notice nor input. Tracy is of course free to want whatever or whomever she wants, and she's free to ask the people she's with to supply those wants. But she does have to ask, and she has to accept "no" for an answer at any time, even if it was "yes" last time, because
that's what consent is.

In that last shot of Gary in the hood, it looks like he really is still wearing his glasses underneath it. If he doesn't fix that, you think the audience will comment on the difference?

Cartoon characters always are. They never just wear specs to crisp up their distance vision or anything.
(Though Sydney in Grrl Power did humiliate one opponent by reminding him that just because she needs glasses doesn’t mean she can’t hit an easy target at point blank range.)
