Huh, well, give DiDi some credit for showing self-control for once! She has been akin to a drug addict, yet managed to take enough of someone else's feelings into account to stop chasing the O dragon? Pity, the one time she shows restraint, it is for someone who is evidently not too grateful for the *loyalty* or perhaps is simply too disappointed to care because her new fantasy was cancelled.
I realise Zii isn't malevolent and is "only human," but damn, she keeps on building the scumbag points: it seems not only did she not have a *genuine* emotional reaction to Sonya's actions, but also her lust overrode her senses to the point where she actually thought a request to "join in" would be acceptable; thereby, Zii revealed her emotional attachment was as hollow as ever, and she ignored Sonya's attempt - petty and possibly misguided as it may have been - to teach her some empathy.
Sonya has been on a roll with calling out Zii on her BS, so hopefully she will again...
As unpredictable certain aspects of this arc have been (for me, anyway), Zii seems to be acting more or less as expected. Just a thought.

Anyways, said it before, will likely say it again: stunning execution of the scene in the artwork! The sexual tension was emanating from the first two panels with Sonya's temptress aura and DiDi falling under the spell, the third did well at Sonya's surprise and DiDi's apparent (and finally) moment of character growth, and fourth.5 was aptly amusing (if aggravating due to Zii's attitude). Though, Zii's expression in panel two was pretty funny.

Good heavens indeed; self-restraint from DiDi, even if it was at the second attempt. I'm not sure how Sonya will take this; on past form, it'll involve some kind of declaration of war, but I'm not sure what her line of attack will be. While I still don't think that we'll ever see the band actually break up, Sonya may now be pissed off enough that it'll come under significant strain.

(And Sonya will be very pissed off; she's lost Zii and had one of her carefully constructed seductions rejected. Two hits to her pride.)

Zii's reactions here, I really don't think count as a very big deal. They're just Zii being Zii, and suffering from a brief hormonal surge. They may be forgotten by next strip. However, aside from the outside chance that Sonya realises what's going on here, they may be a hint as to how strong her relationship with DiDi isn't. This was just a brief hormonal surge, but until Zii gets her hormonal surges under control, they'll always make long-term relationships hard for her.

And, yes - cool art, again.

Huh. Okay, surprising.
But I'll be more surprised if this actually lasts.

This development brings a question to mind. If we assume that this newfound relationship sticks for at least the short-term, will Zii move back in with Didi and Gary? If so, would she find herself upset if she heard Gary having sex with non-Didi women? We seem to have firmly established in this strip that Zii doesn't care if Didi is with other people (as long as she can watch and/or join). I can imagine a strip wherein Gary is with someone, and Zii plunges herself into Didi's breasts to try and block out the sound :))

And there's no way Sonya is going to just give up. If she ever realizes that Gary is who Zii is actually romantically interested in, she will have her revenge...

Surprising. While I do appreciate the character growth from Didi, I kind of wish her loyalty would be to words someone that would actually reciprocate the gesture. I am slightly irritated that Ziis lust won out over the emotional response, if only because it's another thing that she still succeeds while makeing the selfish choice. I'm not sure where this is going, but I'm sure it will surprise me.

Just to recall, the end of volume is bearing down on us. Hmm; likely to involve a weird kiss, likely to involve at least one of Zii or Izz...

Angry Sonya goes off in fit of confused vengefulness and/or desire for a substitute Zii, and ends up seeking to seduce Izz?
