Smash her head with the guitar.

Solves all problems.

Nah. She'd get jail time - or Chastel would murder her on the spot.

Sonya is the one acting rational? (admit it, to many this would be the most emotional rational thing to do in a situation like this... including holding back...) :o

Excuse me, I better get inside before the next flock of pigs fly by...

Well, that's interesting :-?
I thought that Zii was pretending to go along Sonya's "casual sex" bullshit. But it seems she's actually clueless about her true feelings

Characters of this comic regularly loose IQ points when it's convenient ...
Or, Zii is using the fact they were pretending to shift the blame on Sonya. With would suck. Ah well.

Well, damn, Sonya is both acting responsible (for now) and is sympathetic (also, for now)? Never thought we'd see the day... The eye twitch was pretty funny, though, plus was an effective way to emphasise her understandable break in composure.

Zii is really adding up the jerk points, and again by pulling a fairly clear "sorry not sorry." Wonder what voodoo will be used to make her likeable...

What do you mean, she's always been sympathetic ... sort of ... kinda ... if you think about it hard XD
And she's responsible too ... ... I'll think of an example soon

Right? "Yeah ok, I broke my promise to not have sex in your apartment, but that's because I want a deeper relationship than casual sex"
Yeah, I see your point Zii, that totally works.

Haha! Well, she was sympathetic originally as she was swept away by the allure of Zii, but since their first contact, Sonya has committed more than a few actions of devious (if not especially intelligent) calculation, which would subtract that sympathy.

Probably should've been better with my phrasing: responsible in spite of the emotional upheaval.

Wow, Sonya with the incredible restraint! I don't think anyone could have blamed her for smashing that guitar under the circumstances ...

Zii would blame her. A real Les Paul guitar costs nearly a thousand dollars.

Sometimes more depending on model.

First off: thanks Giz for doing updates while you're at the 'Con. Even in pencil, it is much more appreciated than no update.

I don't doubt Zii saying she's looking for a more permanent lover. The feelings she was having with Eric were scaring her, but then growing up can be scary. I also think she's still in lusty love with Didi, and doesn't realize what she's getting herself into. I don't think Zii will have the patience to put up with Didi's antics, nor do I think Didi will change/build more IQ points for Zii. This will eventually lead her to her 'happy place' lover.

All in all, it still doesn't explain taking a major dump on a more-than-friend. Zii can't have been so stupid as to realize that Sonya was wanting her. Simply put, Zii is coming up with excuses to choose Didi over Sonya. Didi was her unattainable; Sonya (while fun) isn't 'the new thing'. Zii might not even be thinking about the fact that she is inside and living at Sonya's place. Zii is expecting that all will be well in her life now that she has Didi. She's wrong, of course. Zii's just too wrapped up in her own lust-love to realize that she just triple-hurt a good friend for a piece of ass {she broke a promise, she lied about it to her face, and she snubbed Sonya's veiled advances for a permanent relationship}.

TBH, I wish she broke the guitar. It would have symbolized the band's destruction too... or at least Zii's part in it. It is sad when a guitar has more sacred to it than several scrotum... Les Paul or not. The next strip should show a defeated Sonya telling Zii to pack her shit. Best time for it too, with Amazon moving services in the house.
