To be fair, Peggy didn't have any success either so she should also have the stabbing arrow thingy too. Gary did put a lot more time and effort into it but there wasn't an interruption. She can probably sympathize with him though.

I think I'm getting fucking sick of DiDi as a character, but then again, I hated Chrissy Snow on Three's Company so it is no wonder.

*Edit* Don't get me wrong, I like the series enough to get one of the deluxe "MA3 AND DC Vol 2 - GOLD Ed" plus a couple add-ons but, i am kind-of upset that the Kiley tough love scene didn't cause DiDi to grow as a character.

Peggy is a rational, sensible woman; she recognised that DiDi has a problem, which is part of DiDi, so the other person doesn't have to blame themself for that failure. And while DiDi triggered her bisexual side, she mostly tends hetero - so DiDi isn't the ultimate attainment for her, and failing to satisfy DiDi doesn't invalidate her self-image as a sexual being. (If, say, Matt had told her that she wasn't good in bed, then she might have been hurt.)

Plus, she isn't a guy, and she doesn't have that whole dumb alpha male neurosis going on. (Though Zii acts more like a guy in that respect.)

Incidentally, the STAB arrow imagery reminds me of the last time it showed up in Ma3, and AFAIK the only other time. Zii got a heart stab during Peggy's Operation Hey Jealous Zii. Which makes me think it'd be wonderfully symmetric if it happens a third time, this time to DiDi...but that'll probably never happen, partially because it might be hard to see the arrow head, but mostly because I think DiDi might actually be too dense to be hurt that way.

It showed up one other time. When Maura told Lynn their evidence that DiDi liked girls was rock solid

Wow, DiDi, that was low. And of course you have NO FUCKING CLUE what you just did there.

And Peggy knows quite well what is going on, too, hence her facial expression. And, yeah, she's getting mildly stabbed too, but she has neither an emotional connection to DiDi nor does she put her on a pedestal.
