Anyhow, one would hope that Zii and Sonya will now return to the couch. And with one old plot complexity cleared up in a minor wall of text, and Peggy able to go to sleep thinking that her masterplan for Sonya has scored 100% success, the comic can move forward.

Zii looked a little like a kicked dog there, thinking that Sonya & Peggy were a couple. I can see how she'd be thinking she was 'in the way', after her recent Didi/Gary event. Good on Peggy for sticking to her plot point and wanting to get some sleep. Long hours and few days off equal overtime, which mean more money which hopefully means her own place! That's what I hope for, at least, and probably what she is wishing for soon if Sonya & Zii carry on much more next to her.

Is it just me or does Sonya look a little disappointed in the last panel?

Just a bit startled, I think, same as Zii. Peggy looked like she was setting up to dump some exposition on them, and then she just crashed instead.

By the way, nobody has noted that Zii was being noticeably considerate and sensitive in panel 2 - actually worrying that Peggy might be emotionally hurt by this situation. Actually, I think that Zii has always been capable of sensitivity when she pays attention - but it contradicts the "totally unfeeling Zii" image that some readers seem to hang onto so hard.
