I'm going to go right ahead and overanalyze this. It was my opinion a few threads ago that DiDi was getting healthier mentally, and I am of the opinion that her shoulder angel and shoulder devil being depicted this way, equally sized and colluding on the same shoulder, is a sign of a more balanced personality.

Now for those of you about to say something like, "But she's still obsessed with Kiley, she's clearly not healthy!" I addressed that before. Psychiatrists deal with transference all the time, that's what they call it when a patient believes him or herself to be in love with their therapist. It usually goes away as therapy progresses, that's why I think we'll be seeing DiDi realizing she doesn't love Kiley in the near future.

I'm thinking if Didi doesn't break, we might have a small gap where Didi quits wrestling, only to have Kiley and the doe-does to persuade her to join again because although with her "one true lover", Kiley, she is a little miserable for a story arc percentage.

But that would really draw things out, and that never happens...

Deliberate metaphor or not, she's probably getting better. As the old saying goes, though, she's not right, just better.

I'm thinking if Didi doesn't break, we might have a small gap where Didi quits wrestling, only to have Kiley and the doe-does to persuade her to join again because although with her "one true lover", Kiley, she is a little miserable for a story arc percentage.

As well as being overly protracted, that would risk being too much soap opera and not enough funny.

Given how forceful a person and 'lover' Chastel is, I doubt she needs to worry Kiley is going to lose any image of her as a delicate flower over wrestling. That must have happened a long time ago already.
