So, why is Gwynnfiny matched up with Dio, anyway? Not as if their Cverse counterparts had much to do with each other.
Also, "our" boyfriend? No potentially incestuous notes there...

Why is Gwynn fighting both at once?
Anyone else notice the Night Sisters' symbol is the old Michael Keaton Batman logo?
And Mikayla and Lina aren't as well endowed as their *C counterparts...

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Two heels stomping on a face is a pretty common occurrence in wrestling. It proves they're bad guys who will do whatever they want in the ring as far as fighting dirty goes.
Wrestling is nothing without glorious amounts of corn and cheese. It's a soap opera based on the old Heavy Metal magazine illustrations near as I can tell.

Why does Dio (who I hope we never see on screen) need to chase them off? I can't believe Faith is not gonna get involved ;)

Could be a handicap match or her tag partner could be off screen.vampire hunter D wrote:Why is Gwynn fighting both at once?
Or it's just a beat down and not an actual match, which explains Dio's run in.

I guess Gwynn has to do with her last name WintersZippy wrote:So, why is Gwynnfiny matched up with Dio, anyway? Not as if their Cverse counterparts had much to do with each other.

In their Cverse counterparts Tiffany went on a double date with Dio, Layla, and Kade... and as for the "our boyfriend" part, it's possible they're playing the role of coven/clan/pack sisters, not actual sisters...
That's what i do... i drink and i know things...

It is good to see Layla again.
That may well be the point. And Nina did bite Layla that time...
Actually, Layla tried to set Dio and Tiffany up together once, it was thwarted by/resulted in chaos and doom™. Without the cryptid/hunter divide, well...Zippy wrote:So, why is Gwynnfiny matched up with Dio, anyway? Not as if their Cverse counterparts had much to do with each other.

PHEW. Teasing people who are sick of the wrestling plot that way could be a really dumb move, commercially, you know.Giz wrote:And no worries, back to Gary & Zii real soon.
She's probably "Gwynn Finster" or something. See also Lynn Brooks.rogermart wrote:I guess Gwynn has to do with her last name Winters
And is Kiley, after weeks of borderline physical assault, suffocation, and sexual distress, going to break free of DiDi because of the latter's taste for dumb entertainment?

That seems like a stretch. Plus the two plots are tied this time.Spidrift wrote: PHEW. Teasing people who are sick of the wrestling plot that way could be a really dumb move, commercially, you know.
But I agree that this could lead to Didi breaking things with Kiley and spending more time people that share her interests, maybe even hooking up with Roxie or Lynn.

Well, somebody's already resorted to table-flipping... And the only link I can see is that Gary and Zii aren't going home because DiDi wants some privacy - so they're avoiding an interaction.

Which ties them both together, since they are both happening around the same time.

Language question: What does 'developed a taste for corn' mean? Somehow, I doubt it means a taste for maize.

So synchronicity implies connection?Cortez wrote:Which ties them both together, since they are both happening around the same time.
"Corn" here comes from "corny" - as in trite, banal, mawkishly sentimental, lacking in subtlety... (The Oxford English Dictionary says the word comes from the idea that stuff which was "corny" appealed to unsophisticated rural audiences.) So "corn" is stuff which has the quality of being corny - such as cliched, stereotyped wrestling plots.Falaris wrote:Language question: What does 'developed a taste for corn' mean?
